The Lingerie show combined with the Costume Show at the Rio Hotel was held early this year. It took place on March 28th through March 30th and it was a huge success! There were not a lot of smaller wholesale businesses exhibiting their merchandise, therefore the major players in the industry, such as Shirley of Hollywood, Leg Avenue, Seven til Midnight a division of Carrie Amber Lee, DreamGirl Lingerie, Forplay, Coquette, etc. were very busy catering to customers and prospective buyers.

Shirley of Hollywood introduced the new Hot Hosiery and Lingerie Catalog. The new Olivia collection based on Olivia De Berardinis pin up art is amazing and looks sensational. New are Tees for women and men, cool T-shirts with Olivia art printed on. Buyers were very much interested in these new styles.

Dream Girl Lingerie displayed the costume collection 2011 in addition to their lingerie, More styles and more reversible options.

Leg Avenue showing items from the new lingerie, hosiery and costume collection, as well as their Burlesque corsets and vintage styles they have started to add to their extensive selection a few years ago.

Be Wicked added corsets to their selection, beautiful Burlesque corsets, nice quality, and affordable wholesale prices. They have only been in business for a few years selling costumes, petticoats and hosiery. The owner has been in the lingerie business for years and knows what customers are looking for.

Forplay's dress collection is awesome, sexy and very stylish. Club dresses, cocktail dresses, party dresses are their speciality. Now they offer more sizes XS and XL to accommodate very small sizes as well as larger sizes. They are also well known for their modern and youthful Halloween costumes. Most of their costumers are in their twenties or early thirties. We specifically liked the new harnesses made of wide elastic bands that look just as naughty as leather or vinyl harnesses, but are very comfortable and easier to care for than leather or vinyl.

Coquette's Dark line is outstanding and our favorite. We sell a lot of their wet look clothing and lingerie, and we are looking forward to carry the new styles in our inventory.Wet Look Dresses, corsets, bustiers and bras combined with lace. Red wet look, smoking hot, pants with zipper front to back. Fashionable high waisted pencil skirt that ends just below the knee. Off the shoulder long sleeve mini dress in wet look, every style a winner and a guaranteed best seller. None of the other suppliers offer anything vaguely similar. Also new, lycra dresses and a bustier with strappy detail, also unique and not seen anywhere else. Kudos to Coquette for bringing exceptional styles to their retailers. A PVC ruffle petticoat and a bustle mini skirt with a long tulle bustle in the back, that looks great worn with a corset. Pasties in all shapes and colors. Coquette always a step ahead, offering more than just sexy styles.

Seven til Midnight famous for their costumes and lingerie extended their plus size lingerie offerings, beautiful sexy lace waist cinchers, panties, chemises and bustiers combined with black lame, and many other styles not just in sizes up to XL, but also sizes up to 3/4X for the full figured women. Larger sizes are still neglected by many suppliers, although there is a big demand for attractive lingerie for real women. They added a few body shapers, long line bras made of soft microfibers with boning to shape every women's body. Video

As always a lot of shoe suppliers exhibited their newest additions. Mostly platform shoes with heels up to 8 inches. Very exotic high heels for performers and heel lovers, most women do like shoes, and can always use another pair.

Latex shown by Fetisso is absolutely fabulous. The quality is impeccable, vulcanized and very easy to care for, very strong, cannot rip or tear, every piece is hand made. We will soon introduce some of their latex items on our web site.

Our show visit was well worth our time, and we got a lot of new ideas to improve our selection for our customers.
